Rufous Night Heron

Image by PacificKlaus Nycticorax caledonicus. Bird photography is hard! This heron is nocturnal, and it was easy to approach. Otherwise, birds are small and smart and fast. I enjoyed my visit to the Olango island bird sanctuary, but it was difficult to take good bird pictures.
