This picture is a pretty tight crop from my 200mm lens, so it's not going to be blown up to poster size anytime soon, but I'm still pretty happy with how it came out. It (and the previous one) are my first eagle in flight shots, so I'm pretty excited. It'll have to do until I get a longer lens or until I get lucky and have one do a close fly-by.

Black Eagle at Nagpur

This picture may not have much aesthetic merit but I am pleased that I could manage it! Black Eagle is a rarity in Nagpur. This picture is full frame and was taken at 1000mm handheld with 400iso at 1/50sec with subject at a distance of 21m, in retrospect I can easily say I could have done it much better but there was a higher possibility that I would not have got a shot at all!!
